In most circumstances, we ask that you not email your instructor (lecture or lab), whether by regular email or through Canvas. Instead, please use one of the other methods below. You’ll get help more quickly that way.

Please know that this is to facilitate consistency and fairness for all students in this very large course, and to handle our very large volume of requests efficiently. We care about you and we want to help you!

Piazza - if it’s suitable to be discussed publicly (not private)
Admin Form - for private matters, including sickness, absence, SSD accommodations, schedule problems, joining the course late, and any other non-content-related personal questions or concerns.

The Admin Form is private, with submissions read by only a small subset of the course staff. But if you have a rare, very sensitive subject that you don’t want to put on the admin form, then you may email your lecture instructor.
